Encourage the person

Respect different bodies, abilities, identities and starting points. Progress is personal.

Ask before sharing

Get permission for other people’s photos, stories, messages and personal details.

Keep advice responsible

Share your experience honestly. Avoid unsafe challenges, medical claims and pressure.

1. Lead with respect

Support other people without judging their body, strength, weight or pace. Disagree with ideas constructively. Harassment, hate, threats, bullying, sexual harassment and discriminatory abuse are not welcome in posts, comments, usernames, bios or private messages.

Do not pressure someone to reply, share photos, disclose personal information or meet you. Respect a request to stop contacting them.

2. Be honest and helpful

Represent yourself honestly. Do not impersonate athletes, coaches, staff or brands, create deceptive accounts, or present a username as a verification badge.

Explain when a training story is your own experience. Do not promise guaranteed results, diagnose someone, promote dangerous restrictions, encourage steroid misuse or push people to train through pain. A community post is not a substitute for qualified advice.

3. Share with permission

Post only material you have the right to share. Obtain permission before showing someone else, especially in a gym or changing area. Do not share private conversations, precise addresses, phone numbers, medical details or identifying documents without permission.

Do not post sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, sexually explicit content, graphic violence or content that encourages self-harm. Never use someone’s progress photo to mock or sexualize them.

Review your sharing choice before publishing a progress photo. Other members can save screenshots or copy public image links. Read the Privacy policy for the limits of visibility controls.

4. No scams or spam

Do not send repetitive unsolicited promotions, deceptive links, financial scams or requests for passwords, verification codes or payment details. Do not use automated activity to inflate engagement or collect member information without authorization.

5. Make thoughtful connections

Nearby discovery is based on the city members choose to share, not a verified live location. We do not verify every member’s identity or qualifications. If you meet someone, use your judgment, choose a public place and avoid sharing details you would prefer to keep private.

You can turn off discovery or remove your location in Settings. This removes you from city search; it does not hide your entire member profile or retract existing conversations.

6. If something feels wrong

Stop engaging, keep the relevant username or content link, and use the published support contact to raise a concern. Describe what happened without forwarding unnecessary private or intimate images. For an immediate threat, contact the appropriate local emergency service.

In-app blocking and automated reporting are not currently available, and the service is not monitored as an emergency channel. We may remove content or restrict access for violations, security or legal reasons. Any support contact published in Help can also be used to ask for a decision to be reviewed.

These guidelines support the Terms & conditions. They apply to public community features and private interactions within YavaFit.
